I live in the UK, your discussion reference individuals making a difference if part of a group is correct.
At first Marcus Rashford, football (soccer) player took up the mantle stating the poor children should be supplied food free school meals whilst on holiday break. Initially ignored and deflected by the tory (akin to Republicans) but when supported by other players, groups and social media there has been a ‘U’ turn, the power of one can become the power of many….if supported by a group or body.
    Thanks for teaching.
